Dr. Sachin N. Deshmukh is currently serving as a Senior Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (MS), India. He has over thirty years of experience teaching postgraduate (M.Tech, M.Sc., MCA) and undergraduate (B.E./B.Tech.) courses, along with hands-on experience in software development.

He has delivered expert talks at various colleges and universities on contemporary technologies, published more than 120 research articles in reputed international journals and conferences, guided 12 completed Ph.D. scholars, and currently supervises 6 doctoral candidates.

Dr. Deshmukh has served in multiple leadership and advisory roles, including Member of the Advisory Board NPIU-MERITE (MHRD, Government of India), Member of the Management Council of the University, and Director roles at the Innovation, Incubation and Linkages Center (IIL), University Network Information Center (UNIC), and Vocational Education.

He has contributed to the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), and has been part of major governance bodies such as the Management Council, Purchase Committee, Senate, and Academic Council of the University.

Nationally, he has held memberships with the AICTE Standing Complaint Scrutiny Committee, NAAC Peer Committee, and UGC Expert Committees. He currently chairs the Adhoc Board of Studies in MCA (Science) and Computer Science, and is a member of Academic Councils across several government engineering colleges and institutes.

Dr. Deshmukh has international exposure through ERASMUS+ initiatives, including the MERGE project and Enhancing Quality Assurance in South Asia (EQASA). He received the PEIN Scholarship under the Erasmus Mundus Program, conducting research at the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain, and visited the University of Peloponnese, Greece under EQASA.

His contributions extend to national educational frameworks, including development of NVEQF guidelines at AICTE, as well as university administration software. He has successfully completed projects funded by UGC, DST, and AICTE, has served as Central Coordinator for Pre-PhD coursework, and oversees memoranda of understanding with Wikipedia India and RGSTC India, in addition to coordinating the ISRO Start programme.

He has also held key positions such as Deputy Director (e-Governance) at AICTE New Delhi, Associate Professor at COEP Pune (on lien), Treasurer of IETE Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Chapter, Vice President of Teachers Credit Co-Operative Society at BAMU, and Secretary of BAMU Teachers Association (BAMUTA).

His research interests include Data Mining, Data Science, Text Mining, Intention Mining, Social Network Data Mining, Sentiment Analysis, and Opinion Mining for Indic Languages.
